Employees working in a small office are happier and less frequently absent than their colleagues working in larger spaces, according to a Swiss study published Tuesday.
The workers work in small sized spaces feel more productive and are less often interrupted or disturbed.
Other environmental factors, such as temperature, are also more favorable in smaller spaces.
One of the main causes of conflict in the workplace is the noise generated by colleagues who call or are meeting, further explains the study relied on data collected from 1230 employees in 125 companies.
